NAPAC USA is the national advocacy engine for Nigerian-born Americans and Americans of Nigerian descent — mobilizing communities, shaping policy, protecting rights, and converting influence into direct political action through our State PAC network.
NAPAC USA (501c4) functions as the national backbone — building awareness, coordinating strategy, and creating the infrastructure of political power for Nigerian-born Americans and Americans of Nigerian descent alike. Our members' interests are our north star; every partnership and engagement we pursue is measured against that standard.
State PACs (527 organizations) are where infrastructure becomes power. Each State PAC operates independently to endorse candidates, mobilize voters, and influence elections at the local and state level.
Together, they form the most structured Nigerian American political network in the United States — a national movement with state-level execution.
Explore the State PAC Network →We amplify the voice of Nigerian-born Americans and Americans of Nigerian descent in state capitals and Washington, D.C. — shaping policy on immigration, economic equity, healthcare access, religious freedom, and civic rights.
We register voters, educate communities on the electoral process, and build the civic infrastructure that turns Nigerian American presence into consistent political participation.
Through our network of 527 State PACs, we endorse candidates who champion our community's priorities, mobilize voters at election time, and ensure our political influence is felt where it matters most.
NAPAC USA extends its advocacy beyond domestic politics. Where it serves our members' interests, we engage with the Nigerian Mission in the United States to raise awareness of and help address issues affecting both Nigerian-born Americans and Americans of Nigerian descent. We are actively campaigning for a Nigerian Embassy on the West Coast to bring consular services closer to the hundreds of thousands of Nigerians who call California and neighboring states home. We also stand firmly behind diaspora voting rights — the right of Nigerians abroad to participate in Nigeria's democratic process. Our engagement with the Mission is purposeful and pragmatic — our members' rights and interests in the United States always take precedence, and we reserve the right to advocate publicly where quiet diplomacy falls short.
We collaborate with numerous American organizations to navigate and address immigration challenges for our members — whether Nigerian-born or American-born of Nigerian descent — from green card processes to naturalization support, ensuring no member faces the system alone.
We advocate for the constitutional right to religious freedom for all members — Nigerian-born and American-born of Nigerian descent — opposing discrimination in any form.
Nigerian healthcare professionals are indispensable to the American health system. We fight for their workplace rights, fair licensing processes, and protections against exploitation.
Where it serves our members, we engage Nigerian consulates and missions to help navigate passport applications and renewals for those who need them.
"Naija Wives" refers to the non-Nigerian American spouses of Nigerian Americans. NAPAC USA advocates to help these spouses navigate challenges in obtaining travel papers, visas, and documentation required for travel to Nigeria — cutting through bureaucratic barriers to keep families together and mobile.
Connecting members — whether Nigerian-born or of Nigerian descent — with resources and advocacy support for permanent residency and citizenship processes.
Raising awareness of insecurity in Nigeria affecting the families of our members, and channeling those concerns through appropriate channels — including public advocacy when necessary.
Working alongside U.S.-based organizations to shape immigration policy that protects and empowers Americans of Nigerian descent and Nigerian-born members alike.
Millions of Nigerians live along the U.S. West Coast with no nearby consular presence. NAPAC USA is actively advocating for the establishment of a Nigerian Embassy or Consulate on the West Coast — reducing the burden on our members in California and neighboring states who must travel across the country for basic consular services.
NAPAC USA stands with the growing movement to enable Nigerians in the diaspora to vote in Nigerian elections. We actively support legislative and diplomatic efforts to make diaspora voting a reality — ensuring our members' voices count on both sides of the Atlantic.
This is where political power is executed. Each State PAC is an independent 527 organization with the authority to endorse candidates and directly influence elections in your state.
NAPAC Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded by the same individuals who established NAPAC USA. The Foundation operates entirely separately, remains strictly non-political, and focuses on civic education, community development, and cultural programming. NaijaFest is a NAPAC Foundation event — it is not a NAPAC USA event. Contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible.
